Quita

  • Domestic Short Hair
  • Female
  • 1 Year
  • ID: 61240
  • Desexed
  • $150.00

Quita is a little character. From her unusual koala nose to her little horsie gallop. Since coming into foster care she has become a very sweet and affectionate little companion who loves the comforts of indoor life. She loves spending time around the house, playing in the garden and coming inside for a cat-nap on her blanket. She’ll happily sleep on the bed too. Quita is a quiet creature that doesn’t get up to much mischief. Though sometimes, she does have a bit of cattitude and will let you know if she’s not happy about you trying to move her blanket while she’s having a snooze on the lounge…or she’ll try to squeeze herself into the smallest of spaces if you’re sitting in her favourite spot. She’ll remind you, that spot belongs to her. If you think that Quita would be a good fit in your home, please email awlwesternsuburbs@gmail.com for a preadoption application form to be forwarded.

Sam

  • German Shepherd
  • Male
  • 4 Years
  • ID: 60510
  • Desexed
  • $350.00

Handsome man Sam is ready for his second chance at love! This beautiful boy is an active boy looking for a home where his owners are home quite often and are able to put the time and effort into continuing his training.

Sam is incredibly energetic and will require his new owners to provide him with a lot of mental and physical stimulation on top of his daily exercise requirements.

Unfortunately handsome Sam doesn’t really like other dogs so he would need to be the only dog in your household.

For more information about this amazingly handsome boy please contact the Kemps Creek Shelter on kempscreek@awlnsw.com.au

Matilda

Ella

  • Domestic Short Hair
  • Female
  • 1 Year
  • ID: 61110
  • Desexed
  • $175.00

Ella here and I’m on the lookout for my new family! I’m an incredibly sweet and adventurous girl who just adores to snuggle.

I’ve never really been around other animals before so if you have other cats or even a dog at home I will need to be introduced slowly and appropriately to ensure we all get along well.

I’ve also never really met any children before so if you have young kids at home it’s best to bring them out to meet me to ensure I mesh well with everyone in the household.

If you’re interested in meeting me give the Kemps Creek team a buzz on 8899 3333 or email kempscreek@awlnsw.com.au

Tom

  • Greyhound
  • Male
  • 5 Years
  • ID: 61005
  • Desexed
  • $350.00

Have you ever seen such a regal fellow, and looking so relaxed? Handsome Tom is ready to trade the shelter life for greener pastures and a comfy spot on the lounge!

Contrary to popular belief, greyhounds do not need endless amounts of daily exercise; they love a long nap just as much as the next dog! Tom will, of course, love a daily walk so that he can stretch his long lean legs and explore new sights and smells. A bit of social play in the backyard with a fun squeaky toy will also get him moving. A food motivated guy, Tom will enjoy learning some basic skills to compliment his beautiful leash walking. As he does love to snack, a good puzzle toy or long-lasting chew treat will keep him happy and busy, especially when he is home alone. At the end of an adventure-filled day, relaxing on a comfy bed or spot on the lounge beside you is top of Tom’s agenda.

While Tom has enjoyed some social interactions here at the shelter with other canines, his enthusiastic play style is not appreciated by all. As an only dog, Tom could be afforded plenty of time for slow introductions to new canine pals and no doubt become a very polite play mate down the track. Tom would best suit a home with no cats or pocket pets; these little furry critters may not appreciate Tom’s spirited approach to play.

We hope that you will be as captivated as we are by Tom’s ‘helicopter’ tail and sociable nature. If this friendly and chilled out greyhound sounds like the boy for you, please come and meet Tom at the shelter.

Gizmo

  • Domestic Short Hair
  • Male
  • 7 Years
  • ID: 60964
  • Desexed
  • $125.00

Sweet and shy Gizmo is ready to find his own forever family! This kind guy can usually be found having a snooze in his bed box as the world is still a little intimidatig for him however once he bonds to someone he becomes an absolute chatterbox!

Gizmo is never one to stay quiet when his breakfast is late and he will happily let you know it is late! He also loves to chirp at himself throughout the day to keep himself entertained.

As Gizmo is still learning to trust he will need a kind an understanding owner who will give him plenty of time to settle in. If there are any young ones in the household they will need to come out to meet him to ensure he is not too frightened of them.

Gizmo has previously lived with other cats and may mesh well in a multi cat household as long as he is introduced slowly and appropriately.
