Bowie is a beautiful natured boy. He is quite confident in new environments and very much enjoys the company of people. Bowie both loves to roam around the home independently and loves a cuddle, purring almost every time he is picked up. He would be fine in a household with children and is not bothered by the presence of dogs at all. This little boy is very special and anyone who gets Bowie will be very lucky.

All cats adopted from Sydney Dogs and Cats Home come, vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped and lifetime registered with council.

Marco Polo (Applications closed)

  • Ragdoll
  • Male
  • $750

This snuggling kitty transcends species- Part cat, part dog, part baby.

This chatty boy needs lots of attention and play to keep him active and out of mischief. Approved activities include- chasing that fluff on a stick, running after balls, playing peek-a-boo in the tunnel, attacking empty toilet rolls.

Marco loves the outdoors, is leash trained, and needs outdoor time to keep him occupied. He loves a little walk outside (on a harness and lead) where he can munch on grass, stalk the insects, chase sticks, and use nature’s litter box. He will not be allowed to be a free to roam kitty, but would love an outdoor enclosure or daily walks on a harness around the neighbourhood.

Once he’s done living his best active life, there is nothing more Marco loves than being scooped up for a snuggle. Belly scratches are generally encouraged, and it doesn’t take long until a mighty purr means he is completely content.

Marco-Polo is great with kids and enjoys the snuggles, he is a typical Rag doll in many senses; he needs lots of attention and activity to keep him engaged, he is very very chatty, and he is also very gentle and sweet. With fur as soft as a cloud, he needs a good brush every other day and is quiet tolerant of having his nails cut.
Marco’s ideal home would be a family who have had cats before and are willing to care for a high energy and high demand kitty who wants to be apart of everything you are doing. He will need to be strictly monitored when outdoors as he will wonder off and make new friends and may never come back! The more room the better and he would prefer a home over a small apartment as he feels cooped up in small spaces and will vocalise his displeasure.
